Clickable image doesn' t work in the table

Hi all,

Our Visual Composer has been upgraded to sps12. And when I add an image to a form and assign it a hyperlink action, it does work well. But when I add an image column to a table and assign it the similar hyperlink action, it doesn't work. Does anybody know why?

Make sure the table is editable.

Hi Dicky,

Are you in VC 7.0 version. We have a problem of loading image in to formview or table controls. Did you face similar problems and hints why this is not working for us. We are in VC 7.0 and at SP10 patch level.

We are in VC 7.0 at SPS12. There are no problem of loading image into form and table. Only that I can't click on the image in the table.

Hi Dicky,

I checked it on our system, which is also on SPS12 and it works. I think your problem is, that you didn't click exact on picture. Not the whole cell is clickable for opening an URL. A solution might be to use a bigger picture, but when your user resize the column, then there could be another space which is not clickable.

Another workaorund could be to use the fit size function of the image, but this cause a deformed picture and I also noticed that this function didn't work correctly.

I will forward a link to this thread to Luis, who works for SAP in the VC QA.

I hope he could solve this issue.

Thanks for your reply and forwarding. Actually when I move my cursor on to the image in the table, the arrow even doesn't change. But for the image of the same size in the form, it can work well.

In Flex 2 you will be able to see the hyperlink of the image in a table as well.

Flex 2.0 which will replace the current Flex 1.5 runtime will be released in a future SP (SP14-15) of NW04s and will solve the known problems that occur in Flex 1.5.
