Hi,
Based on new documentation of SAP, we can combine the upgrade and the conversion to Unicode, can you please confirm that we can have this:
source system is 4.6C NON Unicode and upgrade to ECC 6.0 Unicode ?
Regards,
A.Kamel
if the source system is 620 can we do UCCHECK after upgrade to ECC 6.0 & unicode conversion
or
perform UCCHECK after upgrade to ECC 6.0 but before unicode conversion.

SAP has said us:
"If you don't want an additional system, and want to do this STEP
(UCCHECK, convert code pages...) in the same system, AFTER UPGRADE, and
BEFORE UNICODE, of course you can try it, under your own risk.
We from SAP Active Global Support cannot provide you with any further
recommendation as this is not the standard process that should be
used."
So we can't do it.................allways appears problems and it's required the SAP Support.
Alfredo.
Yes - exactly for that combination that procedure was developed.
Check http://service.sap.com/unicode@sap on what do need to do in which step
