How to delete Missed Deadlines WorkItems from user's inbox.

HI Gurus,

Please let me know how we can delete <b> 'Missed Deadlines WorkItems from user's inbox.' </b>

I have tried running SWWL transaction against the deadline workitem number But it did not work.

I can still find that workitem in SWWUSERWI Table of that particular user.
