Insert Executing InfoPackage Problem in Process Chain

Hello ;

I have a problem about Process chain. I want to include an info package in the process chain and select a process from Process Types. But when I try to choose my infopackage from the list, a message appears : " no data " . Then I try to create a new one and another message appears : "Create an InfoPackage first in the DWB" and it takes me to RSA1 screen authomatically.

I have already an info package and just I want to select my infopackage with it's technical name in the list . But I can't. Pls help me urgently..

Symptom

The input help for InfoPackages does not display any values.

Reason and Prerequisites

There are no real-time or PUSH InfoPackages in the system. This problem is caused by a program error in Note 1033967.

Solution

SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI

Import Support Package 15 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0 BI (BI Patch 15 or SAPKW70015) into your BI system. The Support Package is available once Note 991095 "SAPBINews BI7.0 Support Package 15", which describes this Support Package in more detail, has been released for customers.

hi..

probably you are trying to create infopackage variant...which is not possible..if you click on create icon>it will prompt you to create an infopackage first in dw...(rsa1)

just press F4

and you will get all the list of infopackages available and select your infopackage...

Hi Blue,

when you want to insert an infopackage in your chain make sure you DON'T click on the "create" icon but press F4. This will take you to a list of all the infopackages availble in BW. Search your infopackage and insert it in your chain.

-try to activate the infopackage and use it.

-create 1 more infopackage and try to use it.
