Hi Team,

We are facing a strange error as shown below

Transmitting the message to endpoint using connection IDoc_AAE_http://sap.com/xi/XI/System failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.service.mapping.MappingException: Unexpected error while parsing the multi-structure document.

The scenario was running successfully earlier. Now we added a new message type to multi-mapping. Then the above error resulted. Please let me know in case someone has faced and resolved this error. When I run the input payload in test tab of message mapping the target is generated without error. End to end testing is causing the issue. We are working on PI 7.4 java single stack SP 5.

Regards

Anupam

Did u change the occurrence in Operation mapping?

Once done ensure the new OM occurrence is reflected in the ICO.

You can check the below link and change the occurrence using ED option as Manoj suggested.

Hi Anupam,

What I feel is system is throwing error before going inside mapping. Any changes made in IDOC recently or it's a standard one?

Can you check if there is any issue at IDOC adapter level.

Pranil

Anupam,

How did u manage to change the occurrence of IDOC ?

if it was done just by changing it via signature tab then well and good in case if you have used External Definition to change occurrence then note this will result in error.

Manoj

Thank you so much Guys for responding to my query. The issue was resolved by creating a new idoc and creating a new scenario.
