Hi

i am trying to load data for 2lis_02_itm,i have filled the setup table and i have checked in RSA3 its getting data but when i am trying to extract it from BI its saying no data available idoc with status 8

I have checked the sm37 for the request and i got these details

Hi Sreedhar,

Replicate the datasource and activate your transfer rules ..

Youc an use FM RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL ..

And then try doing the init load !!

Hi Dash i have tried that but still i am getting the same error no data and info idoc with status 8

Note 561880 - Requests hang because IDocs are not processed

Hi Edwin,

thanks for the note but this note talks about the idoc with status 64 and also it belongs to bw 3.0 and 3.5

as of now we are in BI7 with support package 13.

if you can just go through the job log its says 0 records at BW_BTE but when i check in my R/3 system its having records.

what could be the reason and how to solve it.

i even noticed that this is not only for this data source for any logistics datasource its not getting data eventhough i have filled the setup tables

to test i have extracted for FI-AP its working fine.

but only for inventory, purchasing,

Hi,

what happens when you RSA3 your datasources?

please also check that your setup tables are really filled (tables MC*SETUP) for the correct datasources (you are talking about 02_ITM but your job mentions 02_SGR...)

actually its the same with my datasource 2lis_02_itm, 2lis_02_sgr and i even tested on my 2lis_03_bf

when i ran my datasources in RSA3 (all the three) they were returning data but when i ran the same from BI its says no data available.

Hi,

what kind of load are you firing?

do you have selections in your IPack?

You have to perform a FULL load on this datasource.

Hi Oliver,

i am runing a full load to test my datasources in BI but still it says no data available in data basis.

but when i check on my r/3 in rsa3 i have data around 2000 records.

I tried to do a Init without data transfer then its succesful but if i do a full load its saying no data but their is data in r/3.

even init with data transfer its not working what could be the reason.

What do you mean by "when you do an init without transfer it is successful"?

Does it bring data or not?

Please do the following:

- delete any delta initialization on this datasource

- delete the setup table for your DSource

- perform a fresh SETUP of your datasource

- try again to full load in your BI

actually to test i have done delta init without data transfer

so it brought one records and its green but when i deleted that and tried to do the full load it says no data found.

i am going to do the fresh load by deleting the setup tables and do fresh setup table filling and do a full load.

did you activate the BW BTE?

call transaction FIBF / menu seting / identification / SAP appl and verify that the BW application is marked.

call FIBF again / settings / P/S FMs / of an SAP-Appl and verify that your event BW204010 is there...

hi oliver,

i have actually done extraction with full update mode for this datasource 0FI_AP_4

and in the job log this event brings data.

so that means this event is active and working am i right in my guess.

ok, your guess is my guess as well...

what about the determination of the industry sector in your source system?

Call transaction MCB_ and let us know what do you have there.

what about your transaction keys in MCB0? are they well maintained?

i think if we have some problem in the industry sector or process keys then we won't get the data in key figures but i am getting everything fine in RSA3 but the problem is that i am not at all getting any data to BI

agree but why sector are you running?

I mean FI/CO being common; the extraction works even if you have NONE....

I am not sure about other datasources.....

Did you succeed already to load some data from any other LIS datasource??

Hi oliver,

the problem is with inventory management, Purchasing as of now i have these only from logistics and i even tried extracting a generic datasources which are working fine.

what could be the problem.

Hi,

so you have now data for 02 or not?

It looks like your issue is hapening only with LIS datasources however if you tell me that you get purchasing data and not inventory then I don't understand anymore...

can you please check if you have tRFC hanging in your source system when you request data from BI? You can see that in SM58.

If this is the case you might need to register your BI RFC destination in your source system by calling transaction SMQS

Yes its only happening with the Logistics datasources as of now.

when ever i schedule the load and go to sm58 i don't find any entries...

so i didn't get you what you mean by hanging entries in TRFC.

can you kindly explain on how to investigate on TRFC.

did you call SM58 ith no restriction on the user (*) ? Take as well some ten days and see if they're transactions there.

Hi

i have checked the SM58 transaction with * in user name and i gave 10 days time i have few transactions with my BW background user but no entries on the date i have ran these logistics data extraction.

and i have checked the SMQS i could not find my bw server name in the list is this a reason for me not getting the data.

in new releases (NW04s) the tRFC handling has been changed...

i am wondering it is set in my Dev and PRD but not in my QAS
