Hi,
I am doing a little bit brainstorming at the moment:
What we have is using different pack materials (HU_E1 for EURO, height 1 m, HU_E2 for EURO height 2 m ...) and as well different HU types like E1 for Euro 1 meter, E2 for Euro 2 meter...
As you can see - this doubles information.
What I think about in the moment is doing is like that:
Pack material
HU_E => EURO
HU_B => BLOCK
...
HU Type
10 => Height 1,0 meter
12 => Height 1,2 meter
Working fine at the beginning, but when assigning HU types to storage types/storage bin type, I can use only HU Type, so can't make any differences for the pack mat (means all 1,2 meter pallets will fit into storage bin, doesn't matter if EURO or BLOCk
What is best practice here? Can you share your experience?
Thanks
Michael
