ABAP front end editor not work in Windows Vista

Hello..

Have new instal windows vista Ultimate

Install SAPGUI 710.

Try swith Abap editor to NEW FRONT END EDITOR.

clock ok..

and GUI710 too loong sleep.. wait 30 min.. new editor not activate..

install all 2 pathes.. and still have problem.

Old editor WORK...

in Windows XP all good work.

What me do?

hi

new SAP GUI is not supported by Windows Vista.

even if u intsall IE7(internet explorer 7) u see ur F1 help in SAP will not work

Some of the features of the SAP are not forward compatible. so u will have to

work on new editor in Windows XP only not vista.

Why not support vista?

Hi,

SAP GUI--You cannot use the SAP GUI with Internet Explorer 7. A fix for the issue will be available in patch level 20 of the SAP GUI for Windows 6.40 and patch level 64 for Windows 6.20.

new editor WORK!! for vista. but have some problem with interface.. and other

I install path level.. 22..23..24..25. bug with interface leave.. but when i select new ABAP editor.. i have error..

Hi Andrey Petrenko ,

Try to <b><u>DISABLE</u></b> "User Account Control (UAC)" in Control panel -> User accounts.

Last week I found this problem when I logon VIsta with user "Administrator" , but not found this problem when I logon Vista with another user. After I try to disable the (UAC) .... It work ! with logon "Administrator".
