Hello,

In Maintenance Cost Budgeting, the infoobject 0BUDGET_CAT gets its master data loaded through customising. However, in my case, though the master data is loaded, the SID table for it is empty, and because of this, I get errors in BPS. This also seems to be the case for 0BUSI_CAT and 0PLAN_SCEN. Can anyone help me on how to load the SID tables?

Can you try to add $ in the special charactertics and check the same.

Define planning attributes or

Define planning scenarios and budgeting methods or

Settings for planning application.

You have to do the customizing, to fill up your Planning scneario.. have you done this in the IMG??

Hi Meiy,

I have done the customising. And hence the master data tables are getting filled. However, I do not understand why the SID tables are not filled. Because of this, I get the following error in BPS.

'Value $M/$P/$U is not permitted for characteristic Budget Category'

Inspite of having data in the master data tables for 0BUDGET_CAT.

Could you pls help me out?

You dont have to load the SID tables.

WHat you can do is to run RSRV test for master data and this will throw some useful hints and you can rectify.

Transaction: RSRV - master data check - execute and give your info object and then press f8.

Hi Ravi,

I can see no issues from RSRV. Any thing else i could try? Reloading the master data is not helpin either, the SID tables are still empty.

Just like to mention that this load is not done using an infopackage, but thru customising.

Hi

If you have loaded master data trought infosource/infopackage on infobject 0BUDGET_CAT maybe these master data are not active . Try to activate them.

You shoud go on the infobject right click and select Activate Master data

I havent loaded master data thru Infopackage. Here the master data gets loaded thru customizing. However, though the master data is present, the SID link to it is missing as the SID table is empty.
