Hi All/ Antoine,
I have gotten this error when i ran a regression model with polynomial degree of 2.
"memory allocation error in classification/regression model"
"the polynomial order used is probably too high for this data set".
I'm having roughly about 650 variables and 480K total number for records.
it ran fine with polynomial degree of 1.
Is it expected to hit the error due to the number of variables? or What could be the possible cause of this issue?
and any advice if i would still need to increase the polynomial?
Hi Eric, can you please create a ticket with SAP support on the same? It would be ideal if you would be able to provide the data in the ticket so that we can reproduce the issue. Just a side-question: why do you want to increase the degree of the polynomial? Is the model OK as it stands? Kind regards, Antoine

Thanks for the context Eric. Feel free to raise a ticket like I said. Just a small comment on decision trees, they are "just" an alternate representation of the predictive model, it's not about operating the so-called decision tree technique to create a specific decision tree model. Kind regards, Antoine
