PCo (plant connectivity) OPC UA agent - browsing issue

Hello forum,

I have implemented a connection between a Sinumerik 840D OPC UA Server and SAP PCo v15.1 as OPC UA Client. The OPC UA agen configured in PCo connects sucessfully to the server and the PCo connect can browse the pre-defined tags.

However, I cannot add or edit new tags which can't be browsed. How could I add new tags in the 'item subscription' tab? For example, I would like to add some PLC tags (they cannot be browsed automatically). In Kepware, these PLC tags can be added and the format should be ns=2;s=/Random/DB1.DBX0.0

Hi Sergio,

PCo is acting as a OPC UA client which means it can only read tags that the OPC UA server is publishing. If you need to add tags then they have to be added to the OPC UA server ( your 840D), once configured in the server PCo will see them automatically when you browse.
