Friends,
I'm trying to process KANBAN using stock transfer replenishment strategy. Can anyone update me on the required master data and other settings.
tks......kiran
Master Data for KANBAN:
1) Supply Area...Storage location to be assigned to supply area XYZ...this you ahve to maintain in MRP2 view.
2) Control Cycle: In this you have to define number of Kanbans container in a cycle with status.
3) Replinshment strategies...The replenishment strategy defines how replenishment between the supply source and the demand source is to be organized in the control cycle... in your caseusing stock transfer from another storage location 0006..so give the input supply source storage location.
When the kanban status is changed to EMPTY, a direct stock transfer is carried out. This means that in this strategy, KANBAN is used to finely control the quantity to be transferred and the time of the transfer.

Mr. Tajuddin Mohamamed,
I have a related question on Kanban external replenishment strategy 0006 (with MRP). Wonder if you could help. It appears that no purchase order created when I emptied Kanban with Ext replenisment Stragegy 0006 but it worked with 0001 (with No MRP). What am I missing? Appreciate
TKS RAJ,
that link is very useful
