Content Server 630 installation check not working

Former Member

Hi,

I have installed SAP Content Server 630. The installation was completed successfully. However, when I check the installation using the url http://localhost:1090/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo it opens up the 'page cannot be displayed' window.

Could you please help me in understanding where to look for the error etc.

Thanks and Regards,

Angad

In case anyone is still looking for an answer. I had the same problem and this is what worked for me. In the CSProxyCache.ini file there is an entry for driver=LiveCache. This was installed by default. But in the ODBC Data Source Admninstrator under the Drivers tab there was no LiveCache source setup. The sapinst did not create a LiveCache entry. It did create a MAXDB and SAP DB entry. I changed CSProxyCache.ini to driver=MAXDB and restarted and now the link http://<localhost>:1095/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo is working.

Hi,

I also have similar problem in Cache Server 6.40 with MaxDB 7.6 on Windows 2003 server,

Similar with Angad, I also have installed the content server 6.40 with MaxDB 7.6 in UNIX and it was configured it to my R3 successfully.

For example, I can access following link:

http://host:port/ContentServer/ContentServer.dll?serverInfo

Now I have installed cache server 6.40 with MaxDB 7.6 in Windows 2003

server box. I use IIS 6.0.

Installation cache server went successfully. Now when I am trying to

access the cache server by opening the link

http://host:port/Cache/CSProxyCache.dll?serverInfo

I have followed Note 658442 and 371220 to check and assign the correct

authorization. However, the problem is still persist.

Anybody has solution?

Regards,

Ade
