Error " SXS reference could not be exploded for date 07/31/2017 (Mode = P)"

I'm getting below error while release the process order. I have set up X steps all the steps, but Control recipe(s) could not be generated.

I've experienced the same message which could be attributed to the SXS

• not being released
• not being valid due to a restricted validity period

Please check both
