Hello Experts,

I have a doubt. I would like to understand the basic logic behind that during STO process related to inbound delivery created in receiving plant why Putaway(LT0F) can be conducted post PGR(VL32N) in handling unit management? I understand that is configuration in HU to manage the sequence of Good receipt before Putaway or after Put away, why SAP has given this functionality only in HUM not in other like WM

Appreciate your reply

Best regards

Hello Shailesh,

In Inbound Process without HU the standard process is to book the Transfer Order before posting the GR. Further as per your question the basic use of an HU is to include an packing material to the material that is being recieved thus this can be performed during reciept or after reciept thus this is one of the probable reason SAP has provided the functionality for HU managed location to post the Transfer Order even though the GR is posted. This is not required when only WM is active & in this case system restricts to post the GR if the TO is not created & confirmed prior.

Thanks & Regards,

Gopal Attal.
