Hi All

I am working on BPC IP PAK and using Analysis for Office as the front end.

I need to format my actual cells as locked and planned cells as Unlocked when there is a change in the version in the rolling forecast scenario. Which is dynamically changing when there is a change in the selection.

I can do formatting using styles for Member or member area and data but that has to be dynamic just like EPM. Please provide your inputs. Thanks.

Instead of permanent lock you can use dynamic data validation based on formula condition!

Thanks Vadim for your inputs.

I am trying to apply this using VB for my formatting. For some reason this is not working for measures and dimension members. but it works for only member

Working code below

lResult3 = Application.Run("SAPSetFormat", "LockActuals", "DS_1", "LockActuals", "MEMBER","0CALMONTH;201605)

Not working below code

lResult3 = Application.Run("SAPSetFormat", "LockActuals", "DS_1", "LockActuals", "TUPLE", "MEMBER;0CALMONTH;201605", "TUPLE", "MEMBER;Measure;Amount")

Am i missing anything here.

First - looks like you are taking about AO Analysis reports. Then you are using incorrect tag: NOT Epm Add-in for Excel. Please correct.

Second - method using data data validation require no VBA at all.
