WAD - concatenate 2 Queries

Hi All,

we using BI 7.0 SAP GUI 6.40 Support Package 14.

How can I concatenate 2 Queries in Web Application Designer?

Please give me a step-by-step solution.

hi Wolfgang,

do you mean put 2 queries in WAD ?

menu insert - insert table, 2 row 1 column, 1 row 2 column ; border=0

(depend on you want they side on side or ...)

then click and drag web item 'table' (or analysis in bi 7.0)

and specify the query/query view with query1

drag again and specify with query2

• we use table to have better format

Hi Edwin,

I put one filter pane item for the first query and the analysis item for the second.

If I executing the query I see a drop down menü for the first query and the complete report on the secon query.

So, when I choose a characteristics from the drop down there don`t changed the data at the second query (report).

What can I do to solved the problem?

hi Wolfang,

check the properties of the filter pane, section 'specific'

there's 'affected data providers', click 'list' and mark all the data provider

that`s the way from SAP BW 3.5, but I need the way on BI 7.0

The configuration is complete new and I don`t know how to do it on the new web application designer.

Can you help me?
