FIle to IDOC

Hi,

Working on File to Idoc Scenario, File contains only 10 flds.

(KUNNR, NAME1, VKORG, SPRAS, BUKRS ,SORTL, ANRED, KTOKD, LAND1 ORT01, LZONE )

I mapped to debmas:debmas05. but getting error, here what is the significance of

'begin', 'segment' flds? where to map these? what are the values for that?

Check whether u activated the namespace and then activate ur DT and MT.

Map any constant value like 1 to the begin.

I have mapped all segments to constant 1.

But still I am getting error both in the message types and message mappings like :

What is the wrong here?

hi,

u can map any constant to BEGIN and SEGMENT. U can edit the mapping in change mode. And u have to map the mandatory fields (red).U can diable the unwanted nodes.

Hi ,

These nodes in IDOC side are not the fileds but attributes...

These are to be mapped with some constant values... as these are required on target side...

So u can simple map them with some constant vales.( Space as well )..

What about the segment fld? is there any other fld(mandatory) to map in debmas?

Once mapping done to a fld and saved, then how to edit it again?

I dont think you need to map the to those fields..

Can you be a bit more specific as to wat error you are getting..
