How can we change the standard email text?

Hello

We use SRM5.5 with classic scenario.

When end-user create shopping cart, email notification send to approver email (external mail).

So approver can see the work item list on e-mail list.

Approver received standard email text.

But we want to change the email text. How can we change the standard email text?

U just need to find out the workflow template that generate this text [Use SWi1]. Change the text in tcode PFTC [Basic data for subject line and Description data for SC Body].

We did the same for TS10008126.

another solution is using the report RBBP_NOTIFICATION_OFFAPP to generate mails and implement the badi BBP_OFFLINE_APP_BADI. the methods MAIL_DATA_GET and MAIL_CREATE may help you changing the task description.

Hi

1. You cannot modify the task specific text in the RSWUWFMLEC program.

2. U can modify the global general text using in the RSWUWFMLEC program.

3. or u can schedule this program for each task with variant of texts specific to that task. But, you will have to manage many job. Still, you can not use container variable in the texts.

4. Identify the standard task that is sending the email is easy. Go to PFTC_DIS, select WS* workflow and drill down to get the task number of background which send the email, then use the PFTC_chg to change the TS* text.
