BP TYPE

While creating new business partner with categeory person,

what is the field " BP TYPE ( bp type 001 ,002 ) is all about in Control tab.

    U can customize ur BP into different types say Dealers , Retailers, Institutional etc. EX. so that in future u can run a campaign

    U can segregate ur BP as per ur requirement. And those ll be given as input in field BP type in control data tab

    This field is for maintaining BPs in a group. 001/ 002 are different groups defined in your customization.

    Hi,

    This field is helpful in categorising your business partner.For eg: say wish to run a campaign for all Customers of BP type 001.

    As well as based on BP types we can do field grouping i.e. deciding which fields in the business partner must be mandatory, displayed,hidden,etc.

    You can use the business partner type to group business partners according to your own criteria in Customizing.
