Dear expert,

Has anyone encountered this problem in S/4 Hana? When I try to run settlement for COS/Revenue 93117000 (Category 31 - Result Analysis) , system prompts me that this GL account does not exist in the company code level. In fact this is a secondary costs account which is not supposed to exist in company code level. Any advice would be appreciated.

This is where I have configured my secondary cost. OKG4

When I try to run settlement at WBS level. System prompts me that this secondary cost GL is not defined in Company Code level.

If I go to FS00 to create the GL in Company Code level, it will show this error which make sense.

GL account already exist in Chart of Accounts level, I couldn't create this as a GL account at company code level.

Let me know if you need more info on this issue.

Hi Prasad,

I've previously tried checking these two SAP Notes, let me comment on it as it's not as straightforward as it seems:

2328289 - Company code data of G/L accounts with cost element category 31 (Order/Project Results Analysis):

I didn't do any migration to S/4HANA, so technically it does not create any company-code-dependent data in the G/L account master record for G/L account 93117000 with the cost element category 31 so when I run the program FINS_MIG_GCM_DELETE_SKB1_31 to delete company code data, it does not have any records to be deleted.

2473655 - FH 219 error message for CE category change:

I didn't do any CE category change for the secondary cost GL Account 93117000, so when I go to FS00 to clear values in 'Account currency' and 'Field status group' fields before changing the cost element category. It does not have anything to clear.

Any other ideas? Is this supposed to be a issue or config?

HI Fook Ching,

That account type of this account should be "Non Operating Expenses or Income".

They once with a new gl account type.

Best Regards
