HI,

it is maintain fixed values, translations and user-defined routines.

fixed values:here u can give assign fixed values to the variables.

example:tcode,keep = 'X',holdate,etc...

translations:suppose in ur flat file for country field INDIA is there this value is not supported by sap so in that case in translations u have to mention like whenever INDIA comes in flat file make it as IN.

user-defined routines:this is for defining some routines to make the flat file data compatible with sap source structure.

rgds,

bharat.

Hi priya,

about Step:6

Place the cursor on ‘Maintain Fixed Value, Translation, Individual Routines’ on the LSMW workbench screen and press the Execute button.

Press the Display<->Change button to switch to Change mode. The following screen appears

You can specify any additional settings or specifications in your project on this screen.

i.e.,You can also maintain re-usable translations and user-defined routines, which can be used across conversion tasks in step. But most of the cases,it may not reqd.

For me...i never used the step 6 in my implementation...we usually skip the step 6.

Bye....and reward me if useful.
