Create PR from Sales Order

Hi Gurus

Im having problem creating PRs from Sales Order for either Text item or NLAG (non-stock-material) item... Is there any possibilities to create PR from SO for such item..

I try creating for such Text item but have an error "please enter order unit" but if I try using NLAG item, it gives an error "No consumption account".. Understand that for NLAG item there is no valuation class..

I know it is possible to create PR from SO for standard items with valuation class..

Please advise..

hi ,

go to tansaction code VOV7 and check whether the tab <b>item relevant for delivery</b> is checked for the text item item categoray or not.if it is not checked check it.

go to transaction code VOV6, ASSIGN order type =NB.

To create a PR automatically, while creating Sales Order, you require to configure the same in Schedule Line. T.Code to maintain Schedule line is VOV6.

Select Schedule Line CB & copy as & create another schedule Line, say ZB in T.Code: VOV6 & assign schedule line to Item Category & MRP Type ot Item Category alone in T.Code: VOV5.

How PR will be created in schedule Line CB or ZB?

In Schedule line we maintain following fields with respect to PR generation:

1. Order Type - NB

2. Item Category - 0

Acct. Assmt Category - M

I have tried yr suggestion but system is still is still giving an error "not possible to determine a consumption account".. Im using NLAG material type...

Pls advise...
