HI all,
We are using SRM5.0 (service pack 7) and ECC6.0
We are using BADI 'BBP_CTR' for distribution.
we are creating a contract for every plant we distributed...that means we are creating multiple contracts in ECC for every single GOA in SRM.
When we change the GOA the changes are not being updated in the ECC contratcs.
What are we missing? How can we acheive this?
Thanks in Advance
Praveen
Hi
Please go through this ->
IMG activity SRM -> SRM Server -> Cross Application Basic Settings -> Activate grouping logic for locations in GOA
Activate Grouping Logic for Locations in GOA
Use
This setting determines whether the SRM system processes Global Outline Agreements (GOA) with grouping logic for locations.
Standard settings
In the SRM standard system, the setting to activate the grouping logic for locations is not set.
Activities
If you select this indicator to activate the grouping logic for location, items belonging to the same release-authorized purchasing organization, but different locations, can be grouped together into one backend contract. This requires a 1:1:1 relationship between an item, the release-authorized purchasing organization, and the location. This means that for each item, you can only assign one release-authorized purchasing organization, and one location, in order to release the GOA.
If you do not select this indicator to activate the grouping logic for location, a separate backend contract is created for each item belonging to the same release-authorized purchasing organization, but with different locations. Only items referring to the same release-authorized purchasing organization and location can be combined into one backend contract.

Hi Praveen,
why are you creating a contract for each plant? The concept of a GOA is to serve
several plants. The implementation of a central SRM GOA for various plants, as
well for several company codes, can be accomplished and is working,
Please let us know more about the process and functionality you are looking for.
Cheers,
Claudia
