effect on created iviews if you change the version of BW 3.5 to BI 7.0

Hi Experts,

does anyone has some experiences what happens to the iViews created on template or 2.x/3.x if the connected system changes to BI 7.0? Are there any properties that need to be changed or do I have to recreated all iViews with the 7.0 template as base?

Hi Gesine,

No we will not have to re create all the iviews again. But Yes, BEx Web Application Query String is different for NW 2004s BI and the iviews will have to be updated on the portal(3.x/04s).I mean in the property list. Impact is not significant.
