ABZU Asset Write up

While executing the above transaction, the following error message is appearing:

You cannot post write-ups

Message no. AA402

Diagnosis

None of the areas to be posted in accordance with the transaction type entered manages one of the depreciation types entered or cumulative values.

Procedure

Check the transaction type.

Please suggest me as to what is wrong with it??

I am trying to do ABZU asset write up....there is one scenario where I have capitalized an asset and after doing depreciation run I came to know that I have made an error and as it was an AUC and not the final asset, now I have transfered the asset to auc by ABUMN but the value it carries there is less to the extent of accumulated depreciation and so I want to do write up before doing ABUMN sothat gross value can be transfered to auc?

Please see it with the above scenario..

Hi,

Reverse the ABUMN Posting, then set the depreciation key in the original asset to 0000 No Depreciation. Do a repeat depreciation run and then you can do ABUMN with the correct values.
