Selection ID creation in APO DP Planner

We are implementing APO DP pilot project. We were expecting to create Selection IDs in Interactive planning book based on DP Planner ID in the Administrator tab of Location Product. Since the DP Planner ID does not come as a selection option, what is the best course forward? We want to avoid adding a characteristic or a Nav attribute with the Planner ID.

if you go to the icon "choose selection fields" in the shuffler (above the selections) you can see the different fields that are available. what you highlight there is what appears on the selections and sort or choose accordingly

you can use additional fields from the product master by using BADI /SAPAPO/SDP_SELECTOR . the documentation in IMG might be of some use

if you want to avoid the badi then try to load the id in one of the already existing fields

Thanks Harish for the answer. We will explore the Badi with our developers. I am hoping we can use Location Product data or data maintained in a Z table as a criteria to create selections in DP.
