Hi to all, i'm new to WF.

i've a substitute a sub-workflow with another and i have transported all in test system. The transport is OK, but i continue to see the old version instead of the new version of WF only when i process a workflow ( in inbox there are already document ready to be processed ). Could anyone give me some explanation on this?

thanks in advance, kind regards.

The new version will only be used for workflows started after you imported your transport. That means that subworkflows that are started after you imported should use the new definition.

If they don't you can try generating the runtime again from the workflow builder (in the system you transported into), or if all else fails try to start an instance manually using the test option. Usually there are no such problems, but I recently had a similar problem myself in the test system where I had to manually start a workflow instance before the new version would get picked up properly when workflows were started the ordinary way.

Only that version is transported to other system which is active. You should always generate a new version in development after transporting it to test system.
