MAS Installaton error

Hi,

I am trying to install MAS 5.O SP 6.During the start of the installation only it is throwing an error "Perquisites version of JRE not found.Pls consult Installation guide for more information."

On my system I have both JRE and SDK versions SE v.1.4.2_15, JRE SE v.1.4.2_12, JRE SE v.1.4.2_9.

Pls let me know which version I have to install and which one to uninstall.

Hi,

MAS will support only 1.3 versions. So you have to download and uninstall 1.4 version.

Test: Goto DOS command. and execute java -version command. It should display the 1.3 version of java until unless java is not install properly.

Our MDW/MAS is running 1.4.2_09 OK. The Install Guide says this is OK.

I don't have the SP06 Install guide to hand, but I'm sure 1.4.2_09 was OK when we were running SP05.

Hi Harish,

Uninstall all the JRE versions.

Install any of the JRE SE beteween Version 1.4.2_09 to 1.4.2_12.

Any of the above mentioned JRE would do.

Thanks Peter and Pratik for right solution.

The solution is we need to install any version between 1.4.2_09 to 1.4.2_12 but before that uninstall all other version.

I installed 1.4.2_09 and it worked.
