Can you allocate asset to project (WBS)

Hi all,

We have created a Project Structure; however, we can only assign a Cost Center and we would therefore like to know how to assign an Asset?

This helpful information I have found it in already posted threads in this forum by doing some search:

In PS, costs always flow from WBS to AUC and then to final Asset if it is capital exp.

After you create WBS, you can create asset under construction from wbs menu. Then system creates a settlement rule to the asset under construction. To be able to perform this your project should be assigned to an investment profile.

Each period, with project settlement (CJ88) you can transfer project costs to auc.

Finally you can assign "final asset" in the settlement rule of the WBS so to transfer AuC previously settled values to final asset (also with CJ88).
