number range deletion

hi ..

when im trying to delete the one number range for Goods receipt document..(tcode OMBT)

but im getting ,message as' Please delete number range via group maintenance

Message no. NR505'

Dear Manoj,

Go to transaction SNRO and delete the number range group of the number range object that you are using.

in transaction OMBT, click on change groups, then select a particular group

and select Interval---> Maintain from top Menu.

then delete the required interval. But you can delete it only when you have not utilized this interval.

at the risk of stating the obvious, the message indicates the solution. Go to the number range group that uses that number range and delete it there?
