IDOC issue.-,.... Message Type is 'YPPMGOODISS4'

Hi all,

When i try to post the idoc it throws the error "IDOC not posted".

Message status: 51

Message Type: YPPMGOODISS4

Please do help someone.

looks like your message type is custom created as it starts with 'Y'.

when standard IDOC gives the error code 51, then it also gives the reason behind the error.

I think in your case, ABAPer has not written the code for error code 51 so that it displays the reason of error. This is why it is not clear to you.

you may want to contact your ABAPer to find the exact problem and then probably you will know how to get it resolved.

each IDOC has a function module attached to it. Ask your ABAPer to find it out for you or check in transaction WE57. this will give you message type / idoc type and function module.
