Hi Gurus,

I am trying to excute sales batch input program

sm 37 job overview job canceled

ABAP/4 processor: OPEN_DATASET_NO_AUTHORITY

ABAP runtime errors:OPEN_DATASET_NO_AUTHORITY

No authorization to open the file "err.dat".

OPEN DATASET p_err FOR APPENDING IN TEXT MODE MESSAGE msg.

Please let me know your valuable inputs

Hi,

It means that you don't have authorization to open the file or appending to that file.

try to create ur own file and see.It may help you.
