Can i make a test run in LSMW.If yes than how?

Hi Archit,

Go to lsmw transction code give your project name.... THEN

follow menu path EXTRAS - EXPORT - CHOSE EXPORT BUTTON IN APPLICATION TOOL BAR . It will download the project. Go to the sandbox same path you have IMPORT option as well. Import and test it.

The problem is i dont have relevant data in sandbox.I want to do a test run in production.isnt there any option?

I do have test system.But relevant data to test is not there.Lat time it was refreshed was year back.I cannot validate my data from there.

Hi,

Create the LSMW and load it with a single data. During execution of SM35 session, go slowly in foreground and check each and every screen.

If all the screen and data is OK, go ahead and finish the session. If you find any error, you can at any given point of tiime can come out form the session without saving the same.

Once sucessful, again load all remaining data and execute.

You can create a batch input session, but I didn't think you can test the data without posting.

Unless you test with a single entry before doing the mass upload.
