Very urgent : Update maintenance view

Hi

I would like to know if i update a maintenance view ,will that change be included

in the correction instruction or do i need to do anything special for the same.

Which note you are talking about?

If you do the changes it will automatically ask for the TR.

Hi Leon,

Don't give it in the correction instructions but tell the details as which entry to create and in which table.

Customer will create those entry in that maintainace view.

Hi Leon,

These things are not included in the Correction instructions. Is this table is maintained by SAP or by Customer. If it is a customizing table and maintained by customer then no need to include this in correction instruction. And if it is customizing table then I don't think you can include it in correction instruction.

Hi,

it should update the data in views( and corresponding tables ) .

and we need these changes should be stored in change request also .

you can use FM

VIEW_MAINTENANCE_NO_DIALOG

with action parameter = 'SAVE'

just do a where used list of this FM to check how this can be used

Hi,

You need to assign the values to a Customization request. If you have assigned these to a customization request and release the corresponding correction request (Note) then the values should reach the customer.

You can as well check if they reach your Q system.
