CDS view to access data from RTC Model/BW cube?

Hi All,

I need some help in understanding the reporting solution on S4 Analytics where we have CDS view(BEx queries + BO) with RTC(Real-time consolidation- Embedded BPC).

We are not sure which may to architect our solution

Use Standard CDS view for Actual( coming from ACDOCA ) , but not sure how to consume planning and budgeting data stored in RTC model.

Is there a way to access RTC model(BW cube with planning) or BW cube in CDS views?

Second concerns: Standard CDS view P_ACDOCA_COM is without a where clause on Year or fiscal period, so I believe it will dump in production when volume is stressed(360M records in a year).

Idea is to create data lakes for set of reports using custom CDS views( which are filters at base CDS with fiscal period)

For example, if we have a report for YTD, then we create a CDS with where clause of dateto and datefrom on posting date whatever user has entered.

Any suggestions and options(move reporting from RTC model) will be really appreciate.

Hi, I m facing a similar scenario but for Consolidation, so I m building BEx queries on the top of my aggregation level to consume data from ACDOCC and I will create some cds views to consume data from ACDOCA.

Let me know if you find some better option pls.
