Page # as 1 of XX in Back ground, its not showing! while in fore ground OK

Hi Experts,

Am running a Classical report in fore ground, then its showing the Page # as

1 of XX, i..e

1 of 3,

2 of 3 ,

3 of 3.... fine!

But, the same report, am running in Back ground, then its displaying like,

1 of ****

2 of 3

3 of 3.

1 - Why its happening like that?

2 - How to fix it?
