Hello,
We just finished upgrading our backend system from 4.6c to ECC 6.0 and the portal connection no longer works. we are using SAPLOGONTICKET to connect to the back end.
using the Support tools i have verified that i can connect to the server backend.
when i test the gateway it asks for me to check my user mapping.
as a test i changed from the logon ticket to UIDPW with my logon but the connections test still fail. has anyone ran into a similar issue?
i have read sapnote 761917 and have set the setting recommended as a test.
Any help is appreciated
Thanks
Joe
Hi Joe,
Please make sure that your user names are same across the systems for SSO
Set all the properties of system correctly and then check for the logon tickets parameters in RZ10.
You can check with httpwatch for cookies status ..if there are passing to the systems properly.

I had the same error last week and all that I did was deleting the exported ticket in the backend system and importing them all over again. also make sure the validity period of the logon ticket in the Visual adm, the portal key store adm and the backend R/3 system has the same date and time stamp.
hope it helps
