Order Change Management(OCM)

Hi,

I have an issue with Order Change Management.This OCM is useful to implement master data changes to the running production orders.

My issue is for a running production order,if I create and release a change master record with release key which is valid before the BOM explosion date(production order), I am getting procurement elements and I am able to do all the process change steps.

But if the change master record valid date is after the BOM explosion date,system is not finding any procurement elements eventhough there are changes in the master data(say BOM componant change).

Ex: BOM explosion date is 16.07.2007(In the Production Order)

Change master valid date is 02.07.2007

In this case I am able to find the procurement elements(nothing but

production order here)

BOM explosion date is 16.07.2007

Change Master record valid date is 20.07.2007

In this case system is not finding any procurement elements when we run T-

code COCM.

Can anybody suggest the solution?

Rajarao,

Std works that way. Try by shifting the validity date prior to the Bom expl date in change master.

Hi Rajarao,

After creation & release of order some changes are takes place regarding routing & BOM ?

In production order from menu go to read master data, enter the today date,

system will again read the master data.Changes will takes place check in production BOM etc. For creation of purchase requisition of new items, take MRP run again.

You can solve your problem.
