ESS Overview

Hi all,

In ESS --> Overview we will see all subareas with Icons Ex: Employee Search, Working Time...etc.

How to change the icons for thses area ?

Hi,

1. first, you have to create a new resource for the new icon which you want to use.Yo can add a new resource in the view v_t7xssserres.

2. go to the view v_t7xssserarb - Define Area pages.

open the area to which you want to change the icon,say working time..

change the 'picture Resource' property to change the picture of that area.

The same will be shown in the overview also.

Hi,

You should first upload the picture i the MIME repository.

(GOTO se80, click mime repository and add MIME object i.e in ur case an gif image)

Go to T7xssserres, when you create the resource for the picture, give the path if the mime object in the 'Directory path' property of the resource.

say you have added the image under 'SAP/BC/PUBLIC/ICONS' in the mime repository and the name of the file is newicon.gif, then while creating resource, give the 'directory path' as 'SAP/BC/PUBLIC/ICONS' and the object name as 'newicon.gif'.

Hi Sharadha,

i have followed all the steps which u told for the icon change in the employee self service.

but i am getting a image box with cross symbol.

now what i have to do for this?
