Payroll Results not posted to Accounting

Former Member

We ran the Payroll successfully and also successfully posted to Accounts through Tcode PC00_M99_CIPE. However, we now find through Tcode PC00_M99_CIPC that for one employee, no accounting document has been created.

Can somebody tell us what is to be done now ? It is slightly urgent, since the cheques have to go to the bank tomorrow.

thanks in advance

Rajeev

Hi

What is status of control record is it on exit mode?

If it is not in exit mode for that period then again run and create document for the single employee and post it.

Otherwise let me know.

Hi Manoj,

The status of the control record is Released for Payroll. However, when I run the Tcode to create the Accounting document for the single employee, no document gets created. The log says 'Selected personnel no: 0. There are no error messages.

Hi Manoj,

It is not accounted for this employee. In Tcode PC00_M99_CIPC, we see this employee as being selected for the Payroll run but for whom the Payroll results are not posted to Accounting.

I have not understood your question.

We have run the payroll for about 200 employees and posted this to Accounting. However, for this one employee, the Payroll results have not been posted. We need to understand how to now post the results for this one employee. We are able to track down in the G/L accounts for which employees the payroll results have been posted.

Hi

Accounting means did you already run the payroll for this employee.

Now create a document for this employee only by giving employee number

Hi Manoj,

My query starts from there. When I try to run the Tcode for the single employee, it does not give me any results saying 'No of Persons evaluated: 0'.

Hi

Anything else it is giving any other message or error.

Do one thing tell what exaclty you are doing or procedure you are following.

Hi Manoj,

I am recreating the steps we took:

Step 1: Run Tcode PC00_M40_CALC_SIMU for all employees to simulate the Payroll.

Step 2: Release Payroll by Tcode PA03

Step 3: Run Tcode PC00_M40_CALC to carry out the actual Payroll run. This was carried out successfully for all employees as per log and as well as our checks.

Step 4: Run Exit payroll by Tcode PA03.

Step 5: Run Tcode PC00_M99_CIPE to create the posting run in the background. The results showed no employees as skipped or exited in errors, so it was assumed that this was run for all employees.

Step 6: Run PCP0 to release the document and post to Accounting. this was also successfully completed without any errors.

However, when we checked the G/L account, we found the data for one employee missing. We then executed the following step:

Step 6: Run Tcode PC00_M99_CIPC to check the completeness. Here, we find the number of the missing employee for whom the Payroll results have not been posted to Accounting.

when we try to run Step 5 in the foreground for the single employee, the Tcode gets executed without any error message and the log says: Selected Personnel Numbers: 0' and Doc creation log: No documents created.

Hope the sequence of steps are clear.

Hi

These steps are fully correct.

Now check for this employee Result table.

Is the cluster formed for this employee.

Check and reply.
