R/3 to BI7 Connection

Hi Gurus,

Can any one please help me in establishing connection between R/3 to BI7. I am unable to connect these two systems. Please give me the step by step instructions.

Hi Venkat

1.Go to the Source System tab

2.Open your corresponding Souce system ex:GSTP,UT2 like that

3.Right click on your Souce system and click the CHECk option it will shows wether DB system is connected or not

4.If its connected then RIDHT click on to the source system and click the SELECT DATABASE TABLE OPTION.

Hi venkat,

First make sure R/3 and BW systems in Network.

Go to Tr code sale in R/3 drill done on sending and receiving systems. and again drill down on logical system execute on define logical systems.and then assign client to logical system. then go to Tr code sm59 select your client number and then go for create RFC destination.

Go to RSA1 in BW. select source system ,define logical system again like in R/3.

and then Tr code sm59 for define RFC destination.
