Hi All

Can any body help me in giving steps to be followed for newly created palnts for the existing configuration. This i need for my client urgently.[Removed by the moderator.]

Dear Ram,

In IMG under

Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> Logistics General -> Define Copy Check Delete Plant

Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Logistics General -> Assign Business Area to Plant/Valuation Area and Division

Enterprise Structure -> Assignment -> Materials Management -> Assign Purchasing Organisation to Plant

then you need to consider using an LSMW job to achieve this.

You can also extend materials to the newly created entity using MM17 ( use the data create tab).

Hi,

I certainly wouldn't recommend doing this step by step, there are FAR too many tables to maintain individually.

I would recommedn that you create the new Plant by copying an existing working plant (one that is similar to the one you want to create).

After copying it (using the normal enterprise structure > define > Logistics general > create Plant function) you just then have to change the name and address and check any settings that you want to be different.
