Backflushing Errors- COGI Clearing not possible V.Urgent

Hi All,

I'm trying to clear the COGI Errors of June Months now. The June & july MM/FI Periods are open .Stocks are available in excess in the storage location. But I'm getting a error "Deficit of BA Unrestr. prev. 16.695 KG : 23300025 2500 0508 QR03138/07".

What is this "Prev" means.. How to overcome this error.

Mahesh,

Prev means previous period. Check the stock specifically for the batch on the date of posting your GI. Check in MB5B for the batch.

Thanks for your suggestions,

As all of you suggested the problem was that the material was pulled in July & I'm trying to post it in June. There is a SAP FAQ Note (522586) for this and this note adviise as follows,

2. Question:

When you post the goods issue, the system displays message M7 021: 'Deficit of & & & &' even though there is stock according to Transaction MMBE (stock overview). What is the reason for this?

Answer:

It may be that the period closing program might have run recently in your system and that the desired goods issue date or the actual goods issue date is in the previous period. If there is no stock anymore in the previous period and if a goods receipt has occurred in the new period, the system displays this message since the system must refer to the stocks of the previous period.

The only solution is the transfer posting of a stock for the affected material into the previous period:

1. Book out stock for the current period

(for example, per movement type 562)

2. Again book in stock with posting date in the previous period for example, per movement type 561)

Also refer to the notes 69883 and 184847.

First maintain the stock for this storage location and manually enter the batch number while processing the backflush from COGI.

The stock is maintained & available from the 01/June/2007. But with the posting date of 15 th of June its giving the same error.

Hi Mahesh,

as per the error, this part is managed in batches and now you have to maintain the stock with this batch number or different batch and in COGI when do the post processing you have to enter this batch number manually.

Are you processing summarised records? Please process the errors with "Individual records" there can be case were posting dates may be different.

There is no stock of the material with the batch given available on the specified date, that is hte reason you are getting the error.

Please check the batch and date and then try to post a material of batch with stock on the specified date.

Can you check using MB5B whether stock is available on that particular day of posting? It may be available now, if that is the case post it with current date.
