Hello gurus!
I have a question, is it possible (standard function) to create a bottom in WAD, for linking 2 reports without used right click or context menu??? (RRI) because we need to do it an easy form for users...
Thanks
Hi
Yes it is.
In RSBBS create a receiver assignment for the report you want to jump from.
Remember the ID (the first field in RSBBS, e.g. QURY0001)
In WAD:
1) Drag & drop a Button group
2) Create new button
3) Add caption
4) Choose action: Command via Command wizard (instruction)
5) Set command to Report Report interface (can be found under commands for data provider - Basic Data Provider Commands)
6) Choose your infoprovider and press Next
7 ) In RRI receiver write the ID from the RSBBS (e.g. QURY0001)
😎 Fill out the other rows if necessary
9) Bingo you're done
Hope it helps
Kind regards
Steffen

Hi leticia,
I know it's possible in the analyzer (workbook) in designer mode via button -> data provider specific -> assign query
With this you can 'jump' from one query to the other... don't forget that with this basic function you display the query without filtering... (diff from RRI)
for the moment I can't access my WAD, so I can't check how it's done there... but it will be in a similar way
remark: make also a button for the other direction (from query 2 to 1) ;o)
ciao
