Absences not deducted from Absence Quota for One Employee

Dear Friends,

I am facing an issue for one employee, when I recorded an Annual Leave absence to him, it is not updated in his Absence quotas infotype. But this is working fine for all other employees in the same employee group/subgroup grouping.

But for Sick Leave absence type, it is updating in his absence quota records...

I have checked the counting rules, deduction rules, base entitlement rules and other configuration settings.......It is fine and for other employees belonging to the same grouping, it is working fine, except this employee...

I couldn't understand what will be the reason? Can anyone shed light on this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Sai Narayana,

SAP Functional Consultant.

    Hi Sai,

May be that is due to the time you are giving for the absence period. Because you are saying that for all other employees it is working fine. So do one thing just assign hime another period that will not include off days and check it in the infotype 2006.

After giving that please let me know still if you are facing the problem.

    Cheers,

    JS

      Hi JS,

Thank you so much for your response......

I have checked the dates.......the dates are within the working days only........

i.e., 19.5.2007 to 23.5.2007(from Saturday to Wednesday).Thursday and Friday are weekends for us. I am working in Kuwait for Payroll - Other Countries....

    Hi Sai,

As we discussed already, this might be the problem of Period. Have you check the period also for the employee and the quota interval.

Are you using Calendar days or Time evaluation period for accrual.

    Good Luck

      Hi Sai,

Thats what I am saying it was correctly displaying the leave balance in the remuneration slip but not in the infotype 2006. Ok.

This is something strange. Ok and can you do one thing again. you just create the same absence and also new absences in this month and re-run the payroll and check the results again please.

      Cheers

      JS

check it up in Infotype 2006 deduction from and deduction to dates once. since the error is coming only for the employee not to the group
