Hi there,
I have posted the same query in SAP ERP forum but I have not recvd any ans so I am posting the same here .........
I am maintaing the Lot-size dep. durat. & Variable Labor Time in the master recipe for a operation of a material.
When we make the order for the material then will the summation of Lot-size dep. durat. & Variable Labor Time will be considered as the operation time or the higher of the two is considerd & scheduling will be done ........
Please enlighten me ......... because as per my understanding the higher of the two should be taken & that should be considerd as operation time ...........
Regards
Kaushik
Kaushik,
What is the forumula maintained in the work center of the operation. It depends on that. Just check the formula and the formula parameters.

Hi Kaushik,
The time taken by system is depend on parameter set during MRP run.
System will select data from material master when u selct basic date determine,
& system will consider data from routing when u set lead time scheduling.
Once to take MRP run it will not change the values. If u want to see changes everytime to delete PIR & create new.Take MRP again.
See the difference.
