How to Change the standard description of the field in BP?

Hi,

1. Check data element for field you want to change (e.g. data element for field 'street' = AD_STREET), button F1->technical information

2. Go to tcode: CMOD, leave project field empty.

3. From menu GOTO->TEXT_ENHANCEMENTS->KEYWORDS->CHANGE , put data element in(AD_STREET), select language.

4. Just fill in all labels you need and save.

Hi Devi,

You cannot change the description of field by customizing. The description comes from the data element field label. You need to do a modification in the screen layout of the view to which this field belongs.

Hi,

Goto Change mode of a BP and change the First Name of the BP.

You can see the description changed.
