Hi Experts,
We are working with a new material type. In this we have a header material and some materials assigned to the header material. The header and assigned materials are of new material type. The relationship between the header and assigned material is maintained with some new "Z" development.
E.g. Header Material - MAT1
Assigned Materials - ASSMAT1(The table MARA has been extended to store MAT1 field at assigned material level)
ASSMAT2
Now, when I create the PO , first I create line item MAT1, position - 10
Then I create line item ASSMAT1(position 20), here I want to maintain a relationship between higher level item 10 and 20. Presently when I enter 10 at "high level item" column of item 20, it gives me an error , "please enter sub-item category". Please suggest what kind of customization settings will help in creating these subitems. Should I also create a sub-item category?
Your early reply will be highly appreciated.
regards
Satish
Dear ,
I don't understand the business process behind such an arrangement.
You may have to be more explicit.
I was just wondering whether this can't be tackled by creating a BOM (Bill of Materials) ,Pl.
Thanks,
Nagarajan
