I have another question - the standard MB 56 where used report, is run for specific part and batch #. The report cannot be run for a specific part with all batch numbers since "*" is not accepted.

I am looking for an option that will generate report for a specific batch having more than one materials. Would any of you be aware of it?

Alternately is it possible to run the MB56 report where the variables - material and batch number are in a spreadsheet and the the query reads the values from the spread sheet to generate a comprehensive report?

Hi

This report MB56 will not suit to your requirement.

I do not think any such std report is available.

You may have to go for customized report.

HI,

Once you activate batch management in SPRO i.e at plant level, client level and material lavel as per ur requirement.

The best T-Code is BMBC as many suggested yhis is batch manufacturing cokpit.

Also batch where used list, MB56, MB5C .

Hi

After you activate the Batch where used list in OCHA .

You can directly run MB56.

This MB56 is batch where used list.

Batch traceability.

This will be used when you have a complaint about a finished product.

Then if you want to find out which batchecs of ROH were used in that batch of FERT . It can drill down upto Purchase deatils of ROH etc.

Hope this answers you if you are looking for the batch traceability of FERT & ROH.

Hi,

First activate setting in OCHA, where used list. Then u can see by T code BMBC.

Enter material, select particular batch - detail. You can see batch traceability top to bottom and also bottom to top.
